Lucy Lawless is a well-known actress and musician from New Zealand. The most notable of her work are the roles she took on in various popular television and film series including Xena Warrior Princess and Spartacus Blood and Sand. She's best remembered for her performance as Xena. The role was originally meant for the actress Vanessa Angel but ultimately went to Lucy as she was unable to join the filming due to illness.
